You ensure excellent purchasing performance as :

• You manage in an agile way your portfolio of purchasing requests autonomously, identifying cost savings opportunities, and negotiating the most favorable terms with suppliers, always aiming at lowest total cost for Aperam.
• You have a hands-on mentality: you are responsible for the entire Request-To-Pay process. To facilitate an efficient way of working, you ensure an optimal management of all closed deals within the SAP MM system.
• You are capable to autonomously drive local sourcing projects, and you are agile as well to manage ad hoc purchasing requests.
• You can drive TCO improvement initiatives. Good project management and stakeholder management skills are required.
• You assure all suppliers comply with Aperam’s responsible purchasing targets. You run the Supplier prequalification process for your supplier’s portfolio. You closely monitor supplier performance and take necessary actions when needed. You are responsible for the suppliers in your portfolio.

You are driving compliance and efficiency, making sure that applicable purchasing tools/systems for your scope are actually used and in line with the Global Purchasing Policy. Last but not least, you understand that as an Aperam employee, you will uphold health & safety and ethical standards at all times, treating your stakeholders accordingly.
